OK It's only just the beginning of Sept but it's bloody freezing here in Edinburgh...

Bingdweller Fri 06-Sep-13 19:30:08

We are not far from you & heating is on full blast! Just about caused a domestic mind you grin

I was just wondering the same thing!

Doobiedoobedoobie Fri 06-Sep-13 19:31:09

So unreasonable shock

Though I'm in Leicester and its not too bad here!

PandorasSocks Fri 06-Sep-13 19:33:11

YANBU. Mine is most definitely on.

DH is not coping well with this development because (and this really is his reasoning): "It was scorching hot yesterday - it's still summer! Why do you need the heating on today?" hmm

BadRoly Fri 06-Sep-13 19:34:50

Mine would be on if it wasn't broken hmm

iklboo Fri 06-Sep-13 19:35:40

Heating on here near Manchester. Sodding freezing.

Ooh was just searching for a thread about this. ( I don't like starting threads for some reason)

It's a bit chilly and was wondering if anyone else has put their heating on. I put it on in the car this afternoon for the first time in months.
Think I might just put some socks on and watch TV in bed after ds has gone to bed.

wusses all of you!! it's September ffs! If you get too comfy now, by March the gas bill will be enough to make the blood freeze in your veins! Put more clothes on!

Taz1212 Fri 06-Sep-13 19:42:30

Not far from you and DH asked if we could put the heating n this evening. Am now nice and toasty in front of the TV!

madmomma Fri 06-Sep-13 19:43:01

Mind you I'm fat. It's no fun if you're thin and it's cold.

UseHerName Fri 06-Sep-13 19:48:43

ours in on shock blush

UseHerName Fri 06-Sep-13 19:48:57

is on obviously

Tabby1963 Fri 06-Sep-13 19:49:14

Before I am forced to put the heating on I put on extra layers and dressing gown plus fur throws and fluffy slippers. Cat 1 drapes around my neck, cat 2 on lap. Heating won't be on until end of October. I live in Scotland.

scarletribbon Fri 06-Sep-13 19:50:54

So...you're telling me to take the tartan rug off and ditch the hot water bottle for a life free of heating care?

Meglet Fri 06-Sep-13 19:52:06

Mine's on.

I'm in Hampshire.

Pyschobabbler Fri 06-Sep-13 19:55:27

I'm in Essex and its ok here, but don't be a martyr op, put it on and get nice and toasty!

YANBU, as long as you can afford it.

I've felt cold today, needed a coat to keep me warm even when cycling to work. But I'm holding out a little bit longer on the heating as the bills have gone up by nearly 25% this year already despite our usage being the same hmm

Preferthedogtothekids Fri 06-Sep-13 19:58:04

I'm in Fife and I'm really cold but *I absolutely refuse to put the heating on until September is over.

I'm well 'ard.

*may change mind without further notice

sonlypuppyfat Fri 06-Sep-13 19:59:51

Everyone has told me its cold today but I feel brilliant I've been in a t shirt all day. I have felt the best I have all summer I hate being hot.

I'm in Kent, it's alright here. We won't be putting the heating on until are feet are cold through two layers of socks and slippers.

lyndie Fri 06-Sep-13 20:01:42

Edinburgh too! Heating most definitely on!

our feet blush
