So is "funner" a word? My DCs think so. I insist that it should be "more fun" but if I am right now how long before THEY are?

Ok my dd age 8 still says things like "putted" not as in golf but as in put. Stood becomes "steaded", hurt becomes hurted. Aaaarrgghh I keep pulling her up. My family and I all look at each other open mouthed? When will she stop speaking like a toddler? Next she will be asking for cutted up pear Ffs

I knew a guy once who was teaching his daughter how to drive. She was approaching a junction too quickly and he was saying "brake... Brake....BRAKE!"
