... if he doesn't stop saying "aaahh" after sipping his tea?

Very reasonable. I've threatened DH that on my petition would be his inability to replace loo roll on the holder (apart from this he is pretty good however).

TwoTearsInABucket · 02/08/2013 14:21

Does he do it after every sip? If so, YANBU

ClockWatchingLady · 02/08/2013 14:23

Well, maybe one sip in three.

That's settled then. I'll miss him (except at tea time).

Is it Typhoo?

ClockWatchingLady · 02/08/2013 14:26

Frisky, no. Neither is it Bisto.

Does he do it on purpose? That would really annoy me.

pianodoodle · 02/08/2013 14:49

Sounds fair.

It should also be allowed for stacking washed up dishes in such a way that makes me feel like I'm playing a very dangerous game of Jenga when I go to put them away.

At least he does them I suppose :)

YouTheCat · 02/08/2013 14:53

ltb Grin

JParkson · 02/08/2013 14:56

It could be worse... it could be

Ooooooh!

ClockWatchingLady · 02/08/2013 15:15

He claims it's involuntary but I have my suspicions. I might quite like "oooh" - sounds kind of exciting?

Plate Jenga is definitely grounds for something (either a divorce or a medal, not sure which).

My Dh does this thing where he blows over the top of the tea every single time before he sips it

It has nearly driven me to divorce on occasions Smile

ClockWatchingLady · 02/08/2013 15:25

Oh AnyFucker, I think I know that thing too. You are a tolerant lady.

EagleRiderDirk · 02/08/2013 15:41

My OH is ok with tea, however I have just threatened to burn the next lot of junk he just dumps on our dining table - therefore I may not be the best judge of reasonableness here...

Rosenip · 02/08/2013 15:58

You should start doing it and see how long it takes him to stop. But do it louder than him Grin.

My parents much really really REALLY loudly when they eat. I wish I could divorce them for this! Does this happen with older age?

Also this is my first reply to a post in AIBU, everyone seems to know each other, do you?!

Rosenip · 02/08/2013 15:59

Fail, I meant munch.

fabergeegg · 02/08/2013 15:59

Yes, things like that are definitely valid. My personal favourite is saying 'no no no no' instead of 'no.'

ClockWatchingLady · 02/08/2013 16:14

Hello Rosenip! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretty new here too and don't really feel I "know" anyone yet. Just thought I'd wade right in - and it's very nice to have a chat while sitting in a deserted office on a Friday afternoon.

OP posts:
TheFallenNinja · 02/08/2013 16:22

I was going to say YANBU but this seems intermittent, has his valve gone?

ClockWatchingLady · 02/08/2013 16:24

FallenNinja, I'm definitely starting to think he's due an MOT
