To expect a reduction in the bill from this hotel?

We checked in late yesterday afternoon. The little light over the bathroom mirror didn't work, which wasn't a problem, but this morning DH went to take a shower and it almost overflowed - it wasn't draining. We told reception about it and went out for the day. This evening we arrived back around 8pm and asked about it, they said it was the maintenance man's day off, they hadn't been able to fix the light but the cleaners had 'poured some bleach down the drain'.

I took a very quick shower and had to cut off the water after 3 minutes (yes I timed it!) as it was about to overflow. I rang reception to let them know, they rang back a few minutes later, suggesting we use the bathroom in another room - the hotel is fully booked so we can't change rooms.

I said that wasn't acceptable, that we wouldn't use the shower again, and I wanted to speak to a manager in the morning when we check out. Five minutes later reception rang back to say they'd found someone to look at the shower. He arrived armed with a pair of pliers, a screwdriver and what looked like a couple of kebab sticks, he pulled the drain cover off and pulled out the most enormous tangled lump of hair - it was hand-sized, and I'm not exaggerating.

DH is fuming and thinks we should get a reduction in the bill.

sounds reasonable. I'd still write the trip advisor review, saving exactly what happened.
