so my mum and I have this discussion going on.
I love mm,skips,flumps,flying saucers etc.
basically all the treats I liked when I was a kid but mother thinks it looks uncivilised for a grown woman to be eating these sorts of things.
she says I should have evolved to kettle chips, plain tortillas and thornton choccies.
I think bollocks.
so what do you all think?
and do any of you still happily consume'childish'snacks?
what is your favourite?

I'm with you on this one. I love flying saucers especially, and also enjoy Monster Munch (although prefer beef to pickled onion).

Kettle Chips are nice too.

Thorntons chocolates on the other hand are often disappointing.

If it's wrong then I don't want to be right.

I LOVE a good corn snacky crisp and sweets.

Beef Monster Munch are much tastier than pickled onion. Love Frazzles.

Plain tortilla chips are boring.

YANBU

Quite like vegetable crisps though.

Hate thorntons chocolates and tortilla chips.

I eat more than regularly skips, quavers, chocolate licco, revels and those mint cream poppets

YABU.

Past the age of 34 it is completely unreasonable.

Pickled onion monster munch are the best crisps ever. And I have 10 years on you.

Tell your mum to mind her own Grin

But they aren't as big and uncomfortable to eat as they were, back in the day.

YANBU. If I had access to pickled onion MM I'd be eating a packet right now. As it is, I had a tube of some sort of S+V crisps, a tin of tuna and mayo and sweetcorn, a packet of shortbread fingers and a litre of water for my lunch.
I think I've got shingles so the water was for health reasons!

YANBU at all. One of the nicest things to eat ever is a stottie cake and pickled onion Monster Munch sandwiches.

I can only have then occasionally due to living in the SE but when relatives come down from the NE bringing the stottie, I have one then. Bliss.

Thorntons chocolate is not nice at all.

Yabu to not be eating the flamin hot mm instead! Ha they are my favourite :) along with skips, wotsits, space raiders and tomato snaps, mmmm. I also love a sherbert fountain...
Thorntons chocs are gross! Ive only ever liked the thorntons buttons you get in glass jars, everything else is bleurgh.
Think childish tastes run in my family though, my dad is late fifties and still 'treats' himself to jelly worms and bonbons, and my mum would eat milky bar buttons all day long!
