........after the bastard dog has stolen half of it from the serving plate on the kitchen counter!
I don't think it's been slobbered on, it was more of a hit and run!
I'm bloody fuming!

Mmm. I wouldn't want to eat dinner that had been in a dogs mouth first..

Ewww no, you can't!

Just take off the obviously chewed bits. To be honest, the dog's mouth is probably cleaner than some of your guests' mouths.

Ruprekt · 16/06/2013 12:20

I would still serve it!

glastocat · 16/06/2013 12:20

God, that's minging!

Yuk. No no dogs mouths can have Ll types of nasties can't they. That's why you need tetanus if they break skin.

Time to ban the dog from the kitchen perhaps?

Who are you serving it to?

Immediate family (as in me, DH and kids) would do so no worries, close family, I probably would as we are all pretty relaxed.

Not close family, then no.

It's getting served. What they don't know wont harm them! It was carved into (very) thick slices so i think it was only the missing bits that were touched!
At least that's my theory! They are all going Mmmmmmmm, smells lovely, mum. I can't tell them or the dog will die!

Meh, I'd still dish it up.

Oh dear.

Maybe be honest and give your guests the choice?

I would not eat it personally, and I wouldn't give it to DS. There must have been some sort of grabbing, slurping and close contact with the joint as a whole for him to get a chunk off.

There's plenty left, if any of you want to join us!
He is a small terrier who couldn't reach the rest from the chair he climbed on, so I think it's not been touched!
Only immediate family. (I witnessed one of them eating worms when they were a toddler!).

He'll have been licking his arse just before slobbering on your joint Sad
I'd never forgive anyone who served me dog's arse bacteria as an added condiment with my Sunday dinner.

Report
Ledkr · 16/06/2013 12:54

Ugh I couldn't eat it no.
I hope you booted his arse into the garden!

Report
Salmotrutta · 16/06/2013 12:59

I'm sure I read somewhere that a dogs mouth has one of the highest concentrations of bacteria compared to anything else?

I wouldn't eat it.
