AIBU?

To want to cause him some injury right now?

Light hearted one. My beloved husband is laying next to me snoring louder than I think I've ever heard a human being snore in my life. I've pinched his Nose to shut him up and it made him open his mouth and the noise...omg the noise!!!

I wish I could decamp to another room but we are in a hotel right now.

How do I make him shut up without killing him?

In these situations, I find a 'gentleish' tap on the arm with a loud "sssshhhh" is enough to wake my dh just enough that he stops snoring (and he doesn't even realise i'd done anything).

And YANBU - nothing worse than trying to sleep next to someone that sounds like a pneumatic drill!

Is he sleeping on his back? When dh starts snoring, I make him roll over. It helps, not much, but enough for me to sleep. (apart from when he is drunk!)

Wake him up, then claim it was his own snoring that woke him, works here!Grin

No. He's on his front. He snores through his nose on his back and mouth on his front.

I think I'll wake him up. The church down the road has started ringing its bells, I've been up far too long to be making sense and I have a hangover and a full day of music ahead of me.

Men. Bloody pains is what they are!

YADNBU. DH snores. A lot. I have lost around 16 hours sleep this week listening to him as he has a cold. The noise. Oh, the noise. And the nose popping noises.

Dig him in the ribs. Hard
