to have left him

I've just been in a bar after a horrible argument with DH. Saw a nice bloke at the bar so I sat down, took off my ring and tried my luck.

Then my DH came over. He's had a bad time of it. He then started talking about the crop in the field and the fact that we've got 4 hungry children that need feeding.

I know we've had some bad times and some sad times but still.

So should I have left him or should I stand by my man grin

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger...maybe you'll...
Stand a little taller...and it doesn't mean you're lonely when your alone. Just saying. wink

Really think how you approach this OP otherwise You'll be on your own, pretending he's beside you, it will all

It depends on his behaviour. Did he promise love beneath the haloed moon? Dare you drown your sorrows in the warm glow of (his) wine? Are silver threads and golden needles the only option to mend that heart of yours?

I take it he can't buy your love with money and you don't want a lonely mansion with a tear in every room.

Bugger bugger posted too soon.
It will all be in your mind, you'll be talking to yourself and not to him

I'm sure the sun will come out.

Bet your bottom dollar!

That's the spirit OP

Does he sip his coffee whilst you drink your tea, playing it cool. Was it getting kinda late and were you wonderingif he would stay.

Don't push him too far - he'll do something you both regret, and you'll end up walking these hills in a long black veil, visiting his grave while the night winds wail.

It all started on a hot summer night when the beach was burning.

Everyone needs a bosom for a pillow, you can use mine, very unmumsnetty, but everyone needs a bosom

Hey lady, you lady, cursing at your life
You're a discontented mother and a regimented wife
I've no doubt you dream about the things you'll never do
But, I wish someone had talked to me
Like I wanna talk to you.....

I've been to paradise but I've never been to me.

I know that nothing stays the same, but if you're willing to play the game it will be coming around again.

No use reading Emily Dickinson whilst he reads Robert Frost.

Ooh - I love that song.

So I guess it's goodbye to love, he never cared if I should live or die..

SoleSource Wed 20-Feb-13 13:48:31

Where do you go from here? He said he'd take you thrugh the years, so tell me where do you go from here?

The miracle of love will take away your pain, when it comes your way again.

Higgledyhouse Wed 20-Feb-13 13:53:13

Be careful you don't get outed OP - your DH is so vain, he probably thinks this thread is about him smile

DontmindifIdo Wed 20-Feb-13 14:04:29

I think you should tell him your give a damn is busted

DontmindifIdo Wed 20-Feb-13 14:05:17

Although if you're going through hell, keep on going

NinaHeart Wed 20-Feb-13 14:06:25

I think you should just remember you're a Womble.

DontmindifIdo Wed 20-Feb-13 14:11:26

or it could be you just need to remember what it was like when you were first together why don't you try to spice things up again, and go back to how you were when you were dating, tell him:

Just because we are married
Don't mean we can't slip around
So let's walk out through the moonlight
And lay the blanket on the ground wink
