to ask my new neighbours if I can go in their garden?

In short do you think I can ask my new neighbours if we can lift a small play house over their fence into our garden?
Im moving a very short distance and taking it apart will be a massive faff.....however it will fit in our van in its current state. They live on the end of our terrace and have a gate to access their garden.

Its very cheeky so I thought I would sus it out on here first. I dont want to get off on the wrong foor with the new neighbours as Im trying from the previous neighbours because they are so vile!

I think it would be fine to ask. It might be that one day you can help them out if they need to transport something that fits in a van!

Why is it cheeky? You're just walking through their garden! Unless you happen to shit as you go, I can't see how it will be a problem.

Not cheeky at all. We are the end of 4 houses and our neighbours brought their new shed through our garden and over the fence. It never occurred to me to say no. That would have been mean.

I've had lots of neighbours ask me this over the years

When the family 4 doors away were giving their slide to friends, it got passed from garden to garden and then over my side fence into the street

there is currently no fence between the 2 properties....Im bringing pannels with me from the old house and will be putting them up when I get round to it.
I have awful neighbours at present. They have made my life a living hell for the past 6 months. I went home today to find shitty nappies all over my garden :( My garden was so beautiful and they have trashed it, smashing our plant pots chucking large amounts of soil everywhere. its horrible, hence Im a little on the nervous side of the new neighbours.
