I was reading it this morning. The op was being given a huge flaming, did it all go horribly wrong?

FakePlasticLobsters Mon 11-Feb-13 14:20:26

It was deleted as a hoax, with a little rhyme to explain why.

NopeStillNothing Mon 11-Feb-13 14:21:53

Twas a troll apparently.
I want to know what happened to the thread about the girl getting a valentine from her friend! Went poof at the same time. hmm

What was the rhyme?

The deletion notice was nothing short of genius

I'm still laughing

usualsuspect Mon 11-Feb-13 14:26:13

The one about the teenage girl and the valentine school thing was deleted too.

Here
"Thread deleted
Message from MNHQ: What rhymes with troll? Khol...spag bol...narwhal...

We think this thread was not legit
So basically it's a pile of sh--"

usualsuspect Mon 11-Feb-13 14:27:14

That's funny grin

Pascha Mon 11-Feb-13 14:27:35

I think MNHQ should sign off these with their own names so we can see who is the poetic genius.

Fenton Mon 11-Feb-13 14:28:06

Oh that's a good one.

Is anyone collecting these deletion messages? - Someone really should, we should have a thread in Site Stuff where they can be copied and pasted.

NopeStillNothing Mon 11-Feb-13 14:28:45

Not sure why though usual there was no rhyme dammit!! angry

usualsuspect Mon 11-Feb-13 14:30:06

It was deleted for hmm purposes.

Seemed an odd thing to troll about.

GetOrf Mon 11-Feb-13 14:31:20

I said it on the deleted thread, but I was more surprised that there was a person on there who said that the daughter deserved to be treated with contempt - anyone over 12 behaving like that should be.

Thanks for posting that kormachameleon. thanks

TheVermiciousKnid Mon 11-Feb-13 14:32:17

I think the two threads may have been connected. The 'ungrateful daughter' OP's only other post was on the daughter & valentine thread. A bit of sock puppeting maybe?

Fenton Mon 11-Feb-13 14:35:12

I have started a thread in Site Stuff - A place to collect Deleted Messages

grin

NopeStillNothing Mon 11-Feb-13 14:35:36

Ah, yes she did I remember! Haha, the stuff I get excited about is ridiculous grin
I also noticed that comment Getorf can't believe they weren't pulled up on it!

LadyBeagleEyes Mon 11-Feb-13 14:40:41

The op on the ungrateful thread also posted on the valentine one to have a dig at thesecondcoming.
Fuck knows, trolling is most odd these days.

valiumredhead Mon 11-Feb-13 14:44:22

BUt how did they know it was a hoax confused

usualsuspect Mon 11-Feb-13 14:44:51

ah, weird poster all round.

I was a bit hmm at a lot of her posts. But then I seem to be a bit hmm at a lot of posters on here just lately.

NopeStillNothing Mon 11-Feb-13 14:45:33

If I was going to troll, I'd atleast drop immigration or ear piercing or disabled parking into it somewhere.
Piss poor effort.

LadyBeagleEyes Mon 11-Feb-13 14:46:39

I noticed that too, Getorf.
I recognised the name too, they post quite often.

GetOrf Mon 11-Feb-13 14:54:17

Yes I recognised the name as well, certainly not someone new.

I thought it was a horrible thing to say. Imagine reading that about a 16 year old and agreeing with it, and saying that she deserves contempt.

People are strange.

alemci Mon 11-Feb-13 14:56:24

who can be bothered to start these posts if they are not true. very strange

LadyBeagleEyes Mon 11-Feb-13 14:59:39

I suppose it worked as a trolling thread though didn't it?
I for one get unreasonably upset when I read about parents that don't seem to care much for their kids, which I suppose is what the op was aiming for sad.
