DH just brought one home from the co-op...apparently the staff there and several little old ladies told him it was lovely Grin

It's ok - I prefer fruit and nut.

YABU!?!?

It's sort of white chocolate in the middle...no wait, that's vanilla flavour filling, apparently. Took me ages to figure out how to open it!

I got huge one for Christmas and scoffed the lot in one sitting. It has panda approval.

I will never know as it's not suitable for vegetarians Sad

No. I am very reluctant to try new chocolate since PeanutbutterKitkatGate.

Ullena · 23/01/2013 15:29

Hmm...too much vanilla. Rather cloying. But a nice surprise and I will eat it anyway on a cold day!

Peanut butter has no business in a chocolate bar, Hec you should know better than that.

They are fabulous and yummy. Nothing else to say really!

Why would chocolate not be vegetarian? I get it not being vegan, dairy etc.

Shock

It's got horse in it, hasn't it?

It's nowhere near as amazing as it should have been - I was really excited by it but actually it was disappointing.

As said upthread, it's the vanilla stuffing, and with the sweetness of the chocolate it's just far too sweet and cloying. If they'd have put the biscuit in it would have made it more edible.

It was this bunch of bastards, fuzzy. They tricked me by claiming it was the most delicious treat ever.

I bet they installed hidden cameras in my house so they could capture my face when I bit into the foul thing.

The one and only time in nearly 40 years on the planet that chocolate has gone in the bin.

And this from the woman who found 2 choc decs still clinging to the tree this year after it had been in the loft all year - and ate them.

Oh yes.

Grin at Ullena.

I've not seen the ingredients, but I'm guessing gelatine.

What about reeses peanut butter cups? They do the chocolate/peanut butter combo rather well, imo...

Never had one and nobody is going to convince me to have another go at a choc/peanut abomination ever again. Grin

It doesn't say gelatine in the ingredient list. So my guess is it has animal rennet in the whey powder ingredient.

It specifically says 'not suitable for vegetarians' Sad

Hec, you are so easily lead. But I suppose chocolate was involved. Did your kids not like it?

I am utterly affronted that it is not suitable for vegetarians. Those Cadbury bastards. I was well up for trying this Angry
