...likes acting silly? I don't really watch Loose women, have seen a few episodes over the years and don't really like it. Today I am working from home procrastinating and the show is on in the background. It just seems to me that any sort of serious topic they try to talk about she pretends/acts not to know about it and that it's funny in a way to not know about it. Och, I don't know, she is just annoying me. Linda Robson is also on it and I always get the impression she also doesn't try. It's like as soon as they hear the words "parliament", "book", "economics" etc they just switch their brains off because they think they don't understand it and can't contribute towards the conversation.

Ynbu. They're all uber annoying. 2 extremes too, there's street-porter who has an opinion on EVERYTHING, then those 2 doing the we're just girls type dumb act.

I find her very annoying on Loose Women. She seems to enjoy putting on this silly ditzy act and its just not convincing.

They only use Linda Robson cos she's always available and lives near the studios. Fact.

I LOVE Janet Street Porter. I think she is a rent-a-gob and ergo, fabulous.

She is silly. She lives near me and I have been irritated by her spotted her being silly in a pub, a restaurant and a video shop. Seems she doesn't save her silly just for when she is on that silly show - she's full time silly

Omg - no she wasn't. She was in Carry On Behind. Both set on a camp site, to be fair, but one has quite a lot of laughs in it. Oddly enough, the one with Sherrie Hewson has very few.

Yes, on today's episode it is Janet doing all the talking on the serious issues. I do still find her annoying though!

I love Janet too. I am on maternity leave and watching a fair bit of daytime tv. I am overjoyed whenever I see that she is on Loos Women, as the other 'presenters' really annoy me with their vacuous comment. Though Carol Vorderman is ok too. Don't get me started on Jane MacDonald and Andrea McLean ...
