Two Greek Gods chaps working on a house I pass on the school run sang this out to me this morning.

AIBU to hope their willies drop off during this cold spell?

At least my fat arse will help keep me warm <clutches at straws>.

:O How rude! YANBU, I hope so too!

Poor you. What a pair of cocks! Ignore them, I remember when I was walking my dogs and 2 pricks shouted 'which ones the person'. I actually cried walking home and I most certainly do not look like a Springer Spanial!

Spaniel even

Sugarice Fri 11-Jan-13 10:41:48

Cheeky Gits, I hope you gave them the 1000 yard stare!

ElectricSoftParade Fri 11-Jan-13 10:42:43

I did glower at them but they were too busy giggling. Ah, well, hope they have had their amusement for today.

SpicyPear Fri 11-Jan-13 10:43:10

Urgh, I hate this shit, what business is it of theirs how big your arse is?

Don't feel sad about it. If I were you I would go and shake my own voluminous behind around to some Beyonce to cheer myself up.

I don't think your ready for this jelly

They sound like utter dicks. If it makes you feel any better... Some years ago (so I was bloody young too!), my friend and I was walking past a building with builders working and they sang 'Who Let The Dogs Out'. Fuckers, we were mortified. I also wished their knobs fell off.

WillowFae Fri 11-Jan-13 10:44:36

Horrible isn't it.

I was in Eastbourne for a conference at the end of November and was making my way from the car park to my hotel on a Friday evening when I came across a group of lads. They yelled out that I was a fat bitch.

It hurt. A LOT! At that point I'd lost nearly 5 stone in weight and yet it hit me that to strangers I was still a fat bitch who didn't know how to take care of herself and was a greedy pig (never mind the fact that the reality was that I was a long way down a long road of weight loss and recovery, battling with a food addiction, and seeking help to deal with it and get my life where it deserved to be).

I know for a solid fact that they do this in the hope that you'll turn round and have a conversation with them.
They do it for the attention. They have a bank of stock phrases that they use, and they use the ones that they get the best response rate from.

I'm a size eight and I've been called fat by builders! They know you'll notice. I asked a (somewhat unreconstructed) male chum about this behaviour, and it's all about getting you to turn round and acknowledge them.

BelleoftheFall Fri 11-Jan-13 10:46:56

People who say things like this will do it no matter what you look like- it's all about making themselves feel good by shitting all over someone else twats

This might be unfair, but I tense up walking past big groups of lads for this reason. Being barked at or having someone shout UGH in your face really sticks in the memory. I wish they could just leave other people alone.

GloryWhole Fri 11-Jan-13 10:46:56

Some people are just ignorant cunts. Don't dwell on it any further.

Rude twats!

Taggie That's a stupid assumption on a par with what the OP was shouted.

ICBINEG Fri 11-Jan-13 10:48:22

cracked I'm sure a witty comeback is most useful several years later but I would have been tempted to yell back "who let the knobs out" to the same tune...

ResolutelyCheeky Fri 11-Jan-13 10:48:27

They have to blow your candles out because your light is shining too brightly in their sad little faces. <tries hard to make you feel better>

Well, am off to get my hair cut now but have to pass the house again.

Intend to stride purposefully and maintain a poker face <wibble or should that be wobble?>

WorraLiberty England Fri 11-Jan-13 10:50:38

but I would have been tempted to yell back "who let the knobs out" to the same tune

Class!! grin grin

Longdistance Fri 11-Jan-13 10:50:56

You should have sung back ' my suga dumpling' they may have wet themselves and froze their knobs off grin

plantsitter Fri 11-Jan-13 10:51:01

Have they got a sign up saying who they are? If so, I would ring it and grass them up. Even if it's just a scaffolders sign or something because who wants their business to be associated with complete knobwankers?

ResolutelyCheeky Fri 11-Jan-13 10:52:18

I can diet my ass off, what you going to do about your face and personality? <tries>

WorraLiberty England Fri 11-Jan-13 10:52:44

OP I don't know if they're self employed or if they work for a company...but if it's the latter and your see a name/number on the van, report the fuckers.

Any building company worth their salt will not want to be associated with twats like that.

Thick a-holes. You should walk past next time playing music, extremely loudly, 'I like big butts and I cannot lie....' Whether it's a 'compliment' (I use that in the loosest sense of the word), or an insult, most women do not want to be shouted at in the street by strange men. What gives them the right. I know how upset I would have been, it makes you want to childishly retaliate with 'Yes, well I've seen bigger dicks on an ant', but the trouble is at the time, you're too shocked or upset.
