Cursing myself for lighting the fire so I now can't leave DS (2) on his own in here and stuck listening to the pinky ponk 'ponking'!

It is, but not in any way you're imagining! In the Night Garden...TV made to captivate children and slowly kill parents!

Ooooooh....DD doesn't watch that. She's just obsessed with Mr Tumble.

"AHAAAAA....MY SPOTTY BAGGG!!!!! THANKYOOOOOOU!"

Not made any easier to deal with by DH going on about how he should get his spotty ball-bag looked at if it's such a big deal....

Ah, that reminds me of when DS was about 18 months. He used to get very distressed at the crashing Pinky Ponk and would cry and bury his head in my not inconsiderable chest Grin.

He is now 4 and still a sensitive boy...

My son gets distressed at this episode too, another sensitive soul.

Is that the train or the helium balloon thing? The train is possessed and the helium balloon/zeppelin is more Darth Vader/Jaws than a mode of transport. My 16 month old daughter runs screaming.

It's the helium balloon/helicopter thing. Don't even get me started on the fact that when Iggle Piggle and co are outside the pinky ponk, they are way way bigger than it...yet somehow they can fit inside. Or the weird kissing that he does with Upsy Daisy...who has her bed at the ready wherever she goes!

The ballon 2aminthemorning.

My DS, 19 months, is traumatised by the Haahoos. Ever since the episode where bloody Upsy Daisy is dancing with them and they bouncing towards her, to sinister 'bouncy music', my DS cries.

It has a breast for a nose and drinks in glasses shaped like breasts for it's passengers.

Such a silly pinky ponk
