As usual, MN law applies: typos in an OP complaining about language.

KenDoddsDadsDog Chile Sat 08-Dec-12 11:40:02

Feck is vernacular not twee.

YABVairU.

People will come on and say "feck" isn't the same as "fuck", so I will allow feck. Just.

Bleddy, vair, fark can all fark off.

TeeElfOnTeeShelf Sat 08-Dec-12 11:40:45

Also, I'm fairly sure "tweeism" is not a word.

YANBU however I have resorted to the use of "Frelling/Frell" instead of fucking/fuck with another pair of small ears on the way I have to reel myself in somehow and this is a suitably geeky way of doing so. wine to any fellow geeks who know where its from.

I always feel quite self concious if I say feck/fark though hmm I'm far too rough to be twee grin

LoopsInHoops Sat 08-Dec-12 11:40:54

It's the rage, tee. Compulsive typing compelled by the rage.

TeeElfOnTeeShelf Sat 08-Dec-12 11:41:48

I personally use frack when I do not use fuck.

Labootin Sat 08-Dec-12 11:43:59

it woypuld be a vair naice idea to ban such words.

vintageviolets Sat 08-Dec-12 11:44:38

U R bein vair totes unreas for fluffs sake grin

Labootin Sat 08-Dec-12 11:44:52

Woypuld ..? No fecking Idea on that one ...

SanityClause Sat 08-Dec-12 11:46:26

I think they are useful for conveying a jokey tone.

Bloody could sound furious, whereas blardy sounds a bit peeved at something fairly trivial.

Feck off telling us we can't use feck. It's a proper fecking word. People who lump this in with the others are feckers.

I think you're totes hilares.

None of the tweeisms make me go stabby stab stab.

It's just the mumsnet version of gangsta talk, innit.

Havingkittens Sat 08-Dec-12 11:49:05

"what the actual Jeff" is the one that makes my hair stand on end.

Labootin Sat 08-Dec-12 11:49:32

Say what you farking mean gwendoline don't go pussyfooting about.

LadyBeagleBaublesandBells Sat 08-Dec-12 11:49:37

I love Feck, I'ts very Irish and Father Ted.
Vair is usually used in the same way as naice, just people writing ''posh', which I also find funny.
If you want to swear on Mn you can, you fucking cunt grin, but if you don't then fair enough.
I don't think it's twee at all.

HECTheHallsWithRowsAndFolly Sat 08-Dec-12 11:50:21

Am I allowed to cause great pain to anyone caught using the word 'amazeballs'?

Please?

Floggingmolly Sat 08-Dec-12 11:50:46

Feck is NOT a milder version of fuck. Leave it the feck alone!

Labootin Sat 08-Dec-12 11:51:10

My new years resolution will be to tell people to fuck off.

Or flock off

LoopsInHoops Sat 08-Dec-12 11:51:52

Is 'feck' a word? What does it mean?

'Jeff' also makes me see red.
