I'm 37 weeks pg. I planned and prepared a lovely meal for DH and 2DCs this eve. Somehow in the course of making it DH and I got I into a big row (me tired, him watching rugby all afternoon). I worked myself into a hormonal teary frenzy and stomped off to bed telling DH to eat lovely meal I'd prepared with the kids as whole plan was spoilt for me now.
AND SO HE DID!
While I sobbed and blubbed into my pillow upstairs. Starving hungry. I know I'm behaving worse than my pre-schooler, but can't seem to stop myself.
Feeling miserable and unloved. And did I mention hungry?
Someone needs to bring you a takeaway.
Or at least a sandwich.

Shout at him to bring you some food.

You are 37 weeks pregnant with your 33rd child. <Nothing> you do is unreasonable.

I would, but I'm not speaking to him!
Men. He should KNOW that he should come and talk me round.

My post reeks of fail. But you get the idea!

Oh dear. Poor you. I am also 37 weeks pregnant and also picked a massive fight with my DH today. Completely unreasonable too, and I may have flung a toothbrush across the room in a fit of pique.
Do you think you can get away with going down and pretending it never happened?

Thank you mrs Keith. That's what I think!

(This plan does of course depend on there being some dinner left ...)
Yes, a wee bit, but understandable!
Away downstairs now, put your feet up, and let himself get you a takeaway x

I was horrible to Mr when I was pg with dc2. In that situation I would stay upstairs and sulk for a while, then get him to bring me food.
Late pregnancy is a killer.
A toothbrush? I threw heavy things at do when I was pregnant.

It feels like the 33rd I tell you.
Tempus - glad its not just me. He'd probably be happy if I emerged. But it feels like admitting I was in the wrong (which I may have been, but that's hardly the point).
37 weeks? Yanbu. But you should get something to eat. Maybe he could go to a shop or takeaway for you.

YANBU why was your DP watching the bloody rugby whilst you were cooking dinner!
I'm also 37 weeks pregnant I had a teary breakdown today after I saw a white dog on TV, I was sobbing into my DP's shirt saying how I missed the dog I had with my ex so much and how the dog didn't even know I was pregnant the dog probably doesn't even remember me but that is too sad to even think about
Yay for pregnancy hormones!

If it makes you feel better I'm 39 weeks with my dc2 and am currently sitting on the bathroom floor, starving, having stormed upstairs in a tearful frenzy after my husband let the chilli that i spent hours cooking earlier (it was hopefully going to be very hot to get this baby out!) stick a little bit to the pan! I told him to eat his lovely dinner (well, it may taste slightly burnt) and he bloody well has!
I'm not admitting defeat and quietly going downstairs although perhaps I was a little unreasonable.... Plus, why has he not left me a bowl of food outside the bathroom in case I want it? (I may have said I couldn't possibly eat it due to the burnt bits but he should know that's not true!).

Pumble he should have ordered you a hot curry!
What are all you heavily pregnant women doing cooking when you have DPs at home! That in itself is a little unreasonable in my opinion.

This thread has made me laugh.
I don't know any woman who has been pregnant and hasn't been at least a little unreasonable. It's par for the course.
Throwing a toddler toothbrush across the floor is child's play. In my case I threw a rather nice Kenwood food processor across the room and smashed it to smithereens -missed the husband though. Then I got annoyed that it was broken!

Maybe you could text him? Technically you won't be speaking to him then....
Hope he did the washing up!

I've just had a thought.... I bet he's 'tidied' up to be 'helpful' so even if I went downstairs mine would have been eaten or thrown away ( as he didn't think it would keep....)
I hope they've done the washing up. (And are you sure they haven't saved you some?)

Phone up and order a takeaway for one to be delivered. When the doorbell goes, just go down with a casual "oh, that's for me"
