To mention the shopping during sex?

Yeah. I was thinking about the shopping list and casually said, "oh, mustn't forget that we need more matches"!

Please tell me I'm not the only one???

I once picked a really inappropriate moment to ask then-DP if he'd fed the cat.

I think it's fine if you say "ooh I've just remembered we need a savaloy!" but not if you say "ooh we need chipolatas!"...

I've done it, only it was at the end.

I had New Look vouchers, and was excited about getting new shoes the next day.

Was still at the beginning of the relationship, we were both teenagers. OH cuddled up to me afterwards in a smug, self satisfied way and said:

"Wow, LadyFlump, that was amazing! What did you think?"

"Well" I said "I'm not sure, I like the purple ones, but I should probably get the black ones so I can wear them to work"

Amazingly, I'm celebrating my 7 year anniversary with him this week! Smile

I pointed out the dust on the lightshade twice to DP during our last effort at shagging.

To be fair, it was very dusty. And the shag was only in the hope it would start labour. Not the most romantic of occasions really! In fact, I mentioned it twice during said shag.

I'm always SO careful not to do this that I'm sure it's going to happen sooner or later...

During preamble...the thought just popped into my head!! Oh I can't be doing with all the faffing about. In hideously ticklish so kinda have to zone out a bit Wink

Me too! I'm sure that's why I do it - as distraction from the bit where proceedings get underway. It's all so clunky and obvious without a bit of distraction.

It's the same with movies, I never like sitting down to watch them until 10 or 15 minutes in.
