Honestly what does it think having hay fever like sneezing in November!,,

DoodleAlley Sun 11-Nov-12 09:02:36

Ah we have no animals in our house

besides DH and DS

I bloody hate sneezing. Since I've had my baby a little bit of wee escapes so I'm doomed to forever wearing pantyliners. I hate the loss of self control, although luckily I'm not a messy sneezer. Is there such a thing as sneeze rage? Because I get really angry about it.

Think it's all the sodding animals in this house causing it.

PoppyWearer Sun 11-Nov-12 03:40:07

Dammit, can't believe I missed that punch line!

Monty27 Sun 11-Nov-12 00:40:54

Though I'm 18 weeks pg and it's not been going on that lOng, in fact summer wasn't bad at all.

hmmpf off to try and sleep and dream of maltesers.

Will continue to sneeze think, and report back.

DoodleAlley Sun 11-Nov-12 00:36:33

Hmm.

Can't think what's changed except being pregnant.

I'm going to isolate the plant my parents bought me a few weeks back to see if that helps but I'm on a different floor right now and still sneezing.

SamanthaStormer Sun 11-Nov-12 00:34:29

Is it hayfever though?! Sounds like a reaction to something to me. (This coming from someone with multiple allergies and intolerances!) I've been off alcohol for a few weeks, as have been diagnosed as having a yeast intolerance and thought I'd better be good.
Back on the cider last night and within an hour my nose instantly 'filled up' lovely and I'm back to my sneezing fits of about 10 in one sneezes in a single row!

DoodleAlley Sun 11-Nov-12 00:33:15

I have had hayfever in early October but nothing so late. Am sulking at the world because it's cold, a month and a half til christmas and I'm lying in Bed sneezing. And I've run out of maltesers.

DoodleAlley Sun 11-Nov-12 00:31:54

According to Dr Google there can still be fungus spores triggering hayfever in November.

Bloody mushrooms.

CouthyMowEatingBraiiiiinz Sun 11-Nov-12 00:31:02

The Holly and the Ivy reading their calendar wrong?

DoodleAlley Sun 11-Nov-12 00:29:57

Aha! I'm not going crazy.

Ok even I know that's a supposition too far.

I'm not imagining flipping hay fever in November. What on earth grows in November?

CouthyMowEatingBraiiiiinz Sat 10-Nov-12 23:41:40

S'not just me then? My GP has put me on Piriton on TOP of my year round daily cetirizine. And still I'm having sneezing fits where I sneeze so much I can't breathe.

Bastard hayfever in fucking November, it's not right I tell you, not bloody right!

'If that's not conclusive proof then I don't know what is!'

You could get a research grant for that nugget grin

DoodleAlley Sat 10-Nov-12 23:17:17

I stopped eating maltesers and within five minutes my sneezes returns.

If that's not conclusive proof then I don't know what is!

Bimblepops Germany Sat 10-Nov-12 23:08:57

You can take antihistamine's which have loratadine as their active ingredient when you are pregnant.

Good luck!

squoosh Sat 10-Nov-12 23:07:31

My Dad has sneezing fits when he drinks beer. Honestly once he sneezed I think 60 times in a row!

AgentZigzag Sat 10-Nov-12 22:54:40

DD gets sneezing fits from hayfever/grass/pet allergies, she'll be most chuffed to find maltesers will help grin

Campaign to get them free on the NHS anyone?

DoodleAlley Sat 10-Nov-12 22:49:00

Would maltesers help? I'm willing to extend the licence to other malaises

lovebunny Sat 10-Nov-12 22:46:44

could you ask my chest to stop coughing, my throat to stop hurting and my teeth, jaw and tongue to stop aching, as well? i'd really appreciate a break from this. i'm going to dose myself up with ibuprofen and go to bed shortly.

DoodleAlley Sat 10-Nov-12 22:46:35

Well I do believe my pack of maltesers has stopped them.

Call NICE!

DoodleAlley Sat 10-Nov-12 22:39:45

Honestly even my typing sounds like I'm blocked up.

Do = so

DoodleAlley Sat 10-Nov-12 22:39:08

No agent I'm pg do thought they were out of bounds

AgentZigzag Sat 10-Nov-12 22:38:11

Have you had any antihistamines?

DoodleAlley Sat 10-Nov-12 22:36:00
