Contract is up on my phone and I have given notice and requested a pac code to port my number. Just in the middle of feeding the kids tea and get a phone call asking for me," I'm so and so from the loyalty department of vodaphone calling about you're decission to leave..........He then askes me to confirm my details to him for security! Not wanting the hard sell on why I should stay with vodaphone I said No, I don't want to talk to you and hung up! He seemed a bit miffed!!!

I do this all the time to people. I kind of think they have rung me on my number, which they have registered to me, they could be anybody and they want me to confirm who I am! They can swivel!

YAbu only because Vodafone will now offer you a brilliant deal to stay with them. Why do you want to leave? In our experience they will at least match the other deal you have found.

YANBU to be peed off being disturbed at dinner time.

There is no way vodafone can match this deal so it would be a waste of time talking to them. I change supplier every time my contract is up and do a cashback deal. '
This time I'm having a new smartphone on a 24 month contract @ £7.50 per month and if I claim the cashback as per the terms (I always do) it will only cost me £15.00 for two years.
