Ds is asleep upstairs

Dh is on a work call "working from home" as it's Friday.
I've been with ds at the park all morning and wanted to watch the Olympics.

Dh has had it on mute all day while he works but I want the sound up and think he can work in the other room if te sound bothers him!!

He thinks I'm bu

We're putting out to mumsnet!

He is BU.... Olympics is brilliant, and only two weeks every four years!!

Turn it up ;)

My DD is being kept busy with healthy snacks quavers so I can watch it without being screamed at for Jessica Ennis not being as good as Mickey Mouse!

You should not expect to be controlled by his work schedule, if he is able to do it elsewhere.
YOU are not at work.

So he has to bugger off.

Put DH on mute and turn the sound up on the Olympics.

He is BU. He shouldn't be working where you are Olympic-watching.

I think he's actually copping a strop with me over this. I am loving the diving though so not ignoring him!!

He needs to find somewhere more suitable to do his work. Turn it up!

My dh is working from home today and the dcs are out with gps for the day. We are in a flat and we don't have a spare room for him to work from. He is driving me nuts. I have got the sound on the Olympics but he is spoiling my enjoyment just being there typing away on the laptop.

Afraid I may be going against the grain on this one depending on here DH is working - is he working in the same place he usually does and does he usually have the tv off/on mute while working? And do you usually keep it like that or watch TV elsewhere when he's working from home? If so I thinkk YABU - he probably finds it hard to concentrate wit the noise in the background and needs to get his work done. Can't you watch in another room or record to watch later?
