AIBU to think that grown men with patterns shaved into their heads look idiotic? Can't stand children with patterned heads (chav's) but adults?????

I don't like it but then again I don't like tattoos either.

I wouldn't call them chavs though

Each to their own taste really.

BIL has a kind of border at the sides sometimes, which I think looks quite smart. Otherwise, YANBU.

My child is allowed to have patterns in his hair over the 6 weeks school holidays. He's not a chav, we just allow him to try new things when he doesn't have to conform to school dress code.

Unless someone comes up to you and shaves "Snob" into your hair YABU to be so bothered. Someone else's hair isn't hurting you.

Are you watching the football?

There's a guy with a spider shaved into his head, and it looks cool.

And if anyone knows what cool looks like, it's me.

Oh, I'm a little disappointed. I didn't know what this was about and was intruigued!

Meh. I don't really care. The things I do get het up about (piercing infant/small children's ear for example (I know, don't start Blush) or spitting) other people think are perfectly acceptable and fine.
There might be things we do that irk other people but it neither hurts nor affects them so I don't care and wouldn't stop (not that I can bring anything to mind obviously!)

I get more miffed at some clothes when we're out as little DCs are just eye level for some guy's arse to be in their faces when said guy hasn't understood the concept of trousers. Or women flashing their somewhat foxed fanjos when they sit down opposite us in a coffee shop in too short a skirt. But at the end of the day no harm done.

YABU unless they have a cock and balls shaved into their hair or any other type of explicit image/material.

Better than a clean shaven bloke with a stupid tufty bit of beard under their mouth.

Now that is harmful, and spreads sedition I've heard.

Report
AThingInYourLife · 19/05/2012 21:48

It not only spreads sedition, it can also lead to subversion.

We must be vigilant.

The man with the cock and balls shaved into his head will save us.

:o

I'm going to get a picture of myself shaved into the back of my head.

Like Janus.

It was the football and the shaved spider.lol. I don't think it that it makes me a snob, I can't see why grown men would do something that is more linked to youngsters and I do think it is more linked with chav style. Doesn't affect me,as in brings me out in hives or a rash and doesn't make me angry or make me have any real reaction, just think it looks ridiculous/rubbish

Spider Head Man is a youngster.

If the manager had a bowl of fruit shaved into his hair, that would be remarkable.

But even more cool.

Ah the footballer. Isn't it a way of standing out and getting more fans? Kids look up to footballers and the more interest the more chance for sponsorship and the like? Almost part of the job.

Your OP didn't refer to the footballer, I thought you meant in general from that and the chav comment made me Hmm.

I was looking for an example of the stupid bit under the mouth (which is called a 'soul patch' apparently - the things you learn eh?) and found this awesome piece of facial hair.

The man obviously has a full and meaningful life.

IAm afaik "chav" is a Romany word originally and is not short for anything.

It might mean child
