AIBU?

To say that I think Kate Middleton looks like she has an eating disorder?

Umm skinny's not the word. Possibly and probably a size zero? Not natural/down to fast metabolism either as she used to be 'bigger'. That waist is thinner than my thigh by a long shot. Even DH said about it this morning and he's generally not interested in that sort of thing.

Don't understand why it hasn't even been mentioned in the press? I'm confident that any other celeb/person in the public eye would be questioned/accused of being anorexic.

I wonder what her BMI is? I would suggest dangerously low, NOT a good example IMO. However, gorgeous teal dress :)

She looks fine to me and quite athletic

If she does have an eating disorder the last thing she needs is strangers pointing it out on the Internet, or worst press accusations.

Get some basic human compassion please.

She looks healthy in that dress.

YABU... and ignorant. Eating disorders are serious medical conditions that are often fatal to the sufferer. It's stupid to be making judgements about people's clinical health on the basis that they are a bit on the thin side.

Apparently she is 7 and a half stone. I don't know how tall she is, probably around 5ft 6 I'd say? When we saw her somewhere fairly recently she didn't look overly skinny, but she did have a long, thick coat on.

YABU amd trying to cause a stir with something that probably isnt true she looks fine , and not too skinny imo she is slender doesnt , mean she has a mental health disorder ,

I would say she looks far too thin and is verging on looking gaunt now rather than healthy.

On those photos in the DM, one of them shows Williams hand on her back and the length of is hand from tip of fingers to the bottom of the palm covers the width of her back, so unless he has abnormally large hands, she is very tiny.

Get your hard hat on Spice. FWIW I agree with you. Absolutely not a good example.

I am sure she will be deeply deeply distraught to hear that your DH is not interested.

I mean really, she is married to a rich prince and shit, but some random's husband on the internet is clearly who she should be trying to please.

I think she looks perfect.

She is toned and athletic and very healthy looking. I would love to be as slim.

She is 5ft10 so will always look willowy if slender.

I do think she has looked very drained in the past - looking much better now I would say

I also think she looks a bit too skinny for my likening but loads of people are that skinny or more and are perfectly healthy lucky bastards It doesn't mean they have an eating disorder. She looked amazing in that green dress!

Agreeing with this- just saw her on BBC breakfast and she looks really gaunt. Where have her boobs gone? She did definitely used to have some.

Tbh I am feeling increasingly sorry for her. She looks bored to tears at all these social occasions without her husband and after all the excitement of the wedding last year etc she is probably a bit fed up. I saw on the news a while ago about some thing she attended with the Queen and Prince Phillip and turned to my husband and said "I bet that's thrilling for her, I know I'd love to spend a night out with your nan and grandad if you were working away!" Confused

She needs to do something to give her life a bit of structure, I think. Like a meaningful career. All that expensive education and she's had, what, two slightly wishy-washy part-time jobs since graduating eight years ago? Meanwhile William is out saving Wales in his plane? Bit odd.

Doubtless the next step will be a bubba though... as long as she's not so bloody thin she isn't even ovulating.

YABU in suggesting he has an eating disorder. She is too thin though I agree there. But she seems happy and it's no body else's business. Can you imagine the stress she must have to look good! All day every day!

I'd be that thin too!

Again - the assumption that there is something wrong. Does she need to put on weight in order to get pregnant?

I was reed thin before I got pregnant - thinner than her.

It's just my opinon and as if she's going to care what I say on MN. If that was me I'd stuff cake until I was a bit less waif like but if she's happy with herself then good luck to her. It's just the conforming to an 'ideal' shape that I feel uncomfortable with.

DH thinks it looks pretty horrible but he would also say that about someone who was overweight, so like most men, seems to prefer a bit of 'meat on the bones'!
