AIBU?

To be narked off at the male cats constantly yowling on my balcony, and one in particular forever outside my bedroom window being loud and wanting to "mate" with my female cat?

It is getting on my nerves. And I have been tempted to set the dog on them.

(disclaimer: I wouldn't actually set the dog on them)

Your house, your rules.

If you don't want them sleeping together under your roof then stay firm and set boundaries.

They'll respect you for it in the end.

Worra, I wouldn't mind IF she actually went out to them.

I think she is actually a tease and therefore, is to blame for my sleepless night.

I blame the parents....

Yes, squeakytoy, I agree. They are complete and utter sluts.

As for the title, I didn't know that there was any rules as to what it can include.

YABU for not having had your queen neutered by now.

NB. Not one of my female cats ever had litters. No, not one.

four or five, not one

Good luck with keeping her in.

She is actually still only young. And I had planned on getting her done. Just not had her long enough to do so (I actually took her in off someone else. Never set out to seek a cat)

Maybe in this case, the sooner the better would definitely apply. But I hadn't expected it THIS soon when I was asked to take her in.

Either way, it wouldn't be a complete devastation if she did have kittens. I just wish the males would stop yowling at my bloody bedroom window of a night.

Ay bad luck. Kittehs are polyoestrus and are also induced ovulators so she will crack on with this (and the calling...oh, the joys of that fucking racket angelic chorus) unless she's mated or spayed. And a pregnant cat is what you will have and it is not the best idea when people can't give them away right now - OP think of the children. Unless it's cool with you to have 9 cats in which case awesome, I only snuck in 3 before DH stopped me.

Cats don't have the anoestral restrictions that bitches do when getting the mneutered so you don't have to worry about arranging it for 12 weeks time or anything like that.

My girls were all dreadful sluts, everyone of them. The boys were walking 'tang hunters. After neutering it's all food and olympic events in not being arsed with anything that isn't on a string, that flies or is potentially food. If we could substitute that with 'watching cookery shows on tv' and 'campaigning that dessert is a food group' we have the same kinda life actually.

What Kayano said. Really irritating using AIBU as a title. What if everybody did it?

"AIBU to be sick of noisy Tom cats?"

manicbmc · 10/05/2012 11:04

Get her done. Problem solved.

Ha ha ha NicNoc! We have a "'tang hunter" who just moved in and has been chasing all the cats in the street - he's being kept in at the moment because his owner caught him trying it on - he's practically humping the window as the female cats are strumping up and down the windowsill! I need to get out more

Ok, point noted to not do said title again.

Thanks NicNoc, that is very helpful information :)

HIH, they really are champions of sluttery.

ChunkyMonkey- It's not about getting out more it's hard to miss the blatant sex shows and cries of the poor tortured souls [rollseyes].
