...to be spending too much time on Mumsnet when the missus thinks I am doing job applications?

To be fair to me it is her fault. She told me to log back into Mumsnet after being away for a while to post my question about whether a health questionnaire was legal or not. Now I'm here I can't leave!

The eldest two are happy on the Wii and she is out with the youngest at his 30th (almost literally) birthday party of this school year alone (all the social skills in our family were distilled into his tiny little body and the frustrating little so and so can charm anyone with a simple smile).

I am supposed to be working my way through a massive pile of job applications. I haven't even had lunch yet (the kids have).

I'm a mess. It is all the fault of Mumsnet.

I haven't checked my email, my googlereader feed, gone to the loo, eaten, moved or scratched my very itchy back for about 2 hours now and I don't know what to do.

I'm thinking about replying to every single AIBU thread even though I've long since replied to the few I have anything meaningful to contribute to.

Every argument the kids have about the Wii has me reply with "I don't care".

Am I being unreasonable to be spending so much time on this stupidly addictive site again?

I'm remembering why I stopped coming on here before.

Typical displacement activity innit. Don't blame MN, you know what you have to do!

YANBU. Welcome back. And try not to do something as silly as attempt to avoid it again, it never works.

HEY! I quit caffeine, booze and cigarettes I can quit Mumsnet.

I can do it any time I want.

I just don't want at the moment.

MNHubbie Sat 31-Mar-12 15:17:58

Too hungry to think of that.

And I'm not replying to you. I have gotten up and I'm cooking my lunch.

Ha mumsnet is evil. They even made it viewable on phones. Now I can't escape at all even when I leave the house.

Dw is going to come home, see all your posts and you've had it.

" so you were filling in job applications where you??!"

MNHubbie Sat 31-Mar-12 15:22:13

If you're reading this honey, I did get the Taunton one done, honest.

I am in the kitchen.

Damned laptops. MN didn't let me off that easily.

AnyFucker Sat 31-Mar-12 15:23:43

MNHubbie Sat 31-Mar-12 15:24:33

WishingRLwouldFuckOff Sat 31-Mar-12 15:30:42

Evil grin

MNHubbie Sat 31-Mar-12 16:03:04

In your face MN! Lunch eaten, dishwasher emptied and filled, washing machine emptied (and drying hung up) and filled.

Ok I had help from the kids but HA!

EchoBitch Sat 31-Mar-12 16:04:08

Sposh Sat 31-Mar-12 16:04:49

EchoBitch Sat 31-Mar-12 16:05:16
