to thing someone must be wrong here, consistancy of cotbed standards??

it has come to buying DD her own bedding as I think she particulary needs a pillow now.

Bought a cotbed bedding set from Mamas and Papas some months ago in preparation. Went into M&S today to buy the bedding and bought a cotbed pillow and stuff.

They do not match. The pillowcases in the mamas and papas set are full size pillow cases which fit our pillows, not a cotbed pillow. I am advised that full size pillows should not be used for young children or cotbeds, so i am wondering why this is the case? I am kind of left now with a pillow I have no cover for, and matching bedding which I cannot properly use if I cannot use full size pillows.

Is there any industry standard on this or can I feel a little irritated?
ps - not used to doing this and not sure if its done thing to name companies I have used. If not happy to get changed.

I don't know if there are industry standards for cot/cotbed/toddler bed sized bedding - think it's up to you to check sizes.
