This last week has been horrid with very little sleep due to a teething ds.

Tuesday night was really bad, so dp went to sleep downstairs so at least one of us got some sleep (I slept through the day when ds did)

Anyway I digress.

When DP went to sleep down stairs he took an old mobile phone that he uses for the alarm with him to get him up for work (it's louder than his current mobile)

Yesterday said mobile was still downstairs, so I reminded him to take it up so he could use it.

Last night ds was up 6 times finally settling at 3am

At 6am dps alarm sounded, From down stairs!

He just forgot you are shrugging?

He didn't bloody forget because two mins later his other phone, next to the bed went off. So really he realised when he came up but couldn't be arsed to go back down! He let it sound for 10 minuites before he shifted his selfish arse out of bed!

I may be sleep deprived and irrational.

I'm going to leave the bastard!!

My DD has done a similar thing. I got her an alarm clock on Monday so she could be more independant.
She set it for 5 to see how it sounded - despite having tried it numerous times.
She rolled over and went back to sleep with the bloody thing doing its thing.
Tuesday similar but set for six.
Wednesday the same.
Today, six rolled around so did the noise.
Any other day it would not bother me, I get up around that time. Today is my day off and I was planning to stay in bed until at least 7.
YANBU.

lol - hubby has mobile phone alarm that sounds like a submarine's warning alarm going into battle. Drives me bloody nuts! However, we usually have 4 different alarms going off in the morning, one downstairs in the sitting room (downstairs phone), my mobile and his, then we have an additional alarm which is my dd getting up at 6 every morning and wanting to have a conversation with us. I am currently questioning why we have so many alarm clocks apart from my inate fear of running late every morning which somehow I do anyway!
