DD has aspergers. she is fine if things are just so ad don't deviate from her 'norm'..

on saturdays she has pizza.

she saves half of her pizza to eat for breakfast on sunday morning.

This is the law of DD.

How many fucking sodding bastard times is DH going to eat the fucking pizza? even just one piece? This means DD goes off on one, ranting and squawking and will now be in a mood for the rest of the fucking day.

Yes, DD should learn that a piece of pizza isn't the end of the world but FUCKING HELL!!!!!

HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES???????????????????????????????????

oh, that is deliberately uspetting.

My dh only did similar once, there was one piece of blueberry pie left (I had made it from scratch for pudding, with blueberries me and the kids had been out foraging). The only person who had not eaten blueberry pie, was ds1. It was OBVIOUS the piece was left for ds1. But no, dh had to scoff it. Ds1, naturally made such a scene, and was so upset.

Eating food earmarked a child is a total no no. You just dont do it.

Time to go out for a nice day, on your own. Let him deal with DD.

Is it deliberate? Is he trying to teach her something or does he just forget?

Report
IDontDoIroning · 04/12/2011 10:39

Well I hope you leave him to deal with her bad mood for the day.

There's no excuse for this. He's being a dick.

he claims not to have. in his words he 'wouldn't dare'.

maybe she ate it herself?

Can he go out and buy dd a new pizza and cook it for her?

He really should.

Does he understand her and show her compassion at all?

QuintessentialyFestive · 04/12/2011 10:41

How strange!
He wouldn't lie about it?

Was he out drunk last night and ate it when he got home?

CarolCervix · 04/12/2011 10:41

apologies DH. you are a bit of a nob but not that much.

he's done that before Quint, that's why I automatically assumed it was him again.

Well, you have a nice sunday pizza mystery to solve!

Oh.My.God. If anyone was to deliberately (and more than once or twice is deliberately IMO) wind up my 13yo DD who has asd, I might be forced to inflict serious pain upon their person with a rusty fork. At the same time as wishing a plague of boils upon their bottom. Whilst stamping up and down upon anything that they held dear to them.

Is he usually such a dipstick when it comes to your DD's asd? Is he doing it on purpose to make a point? Or is he genuinely just an unthinking muppet? And who has to deal with the ensuing meltdown - him or you?

Ooooooookay. Do you have any OTHER dc? That may have filched the pizza? The mystery of the missing pizza...

Well, regardless, I think Sunday has become 'let's cook pizza with Dad' day.

DD1 stayed at friends last night - so it wasn't her.

DH isn't usually a complete nob. only a bit of one.

maybe the dog has learnt to open the fridge?

Who else is in the house?

Your daughter is having a meltdown, so logically it is unlikely that she ate it!
Your other daughter wasn't there. so she didn't eat it.
You didn't eat it.
Your husband claims he didn't eat it.

If there is nobody else in the house, then I'm going to take a stab in the dark and suggest that husband dearest is telling porkies Grin

I may use that one. Grin
