AIBU?

To be [hmm] at "Certified Frustration-Free Packaging"

I bought two Micro SD cards from Amazon. They are approximately 1cm x 1.5cm x 1 mm in diameter. They are the same product, bought from the same supplier, at exactly the same time, using the cunning mechanism of selecting 'quantity 2' when I made my purchase.

They arrived today.

They were made in China, and then supplied by a company in Ireland. But for some reason sent via a dispatch company based in Jersey!

The disks were packaged in a little plastic clip box (fair enough, they are so small it stops them getting lost and should prevent damage), then placed into a cardboard envelope (again, reasonable packaging). However, I fail to fathom why it was then necessary to put them in a jiffy bag.

Or indeed why it was necessary to send them in two packages so that they arrived separately. Confused

So AIBU to be rather Hmm Hmm Hmm that the packaging has come emblazoned with a logo proudly proclaiming that it is "Certified Frustration Free-Packaging", and to wonder if I pointed out that I am actually a bit frustrated at the pointless travel-miles, and the unnecessary duplication of packaging, I might get my postage costs back which I didn't actually pay as it was free delivery ?

Jersey = Tax dodge. Not for long though.

I ordered something (a mens electric shaver) and it came in a box approx 4 times bigger than the shavers box and filled with brown "packing" paper. I actually thought the bos was empty at 1st as i couldnt find it Confused
