It says he's been charged with buggery contrary to Section 61 of the Offences against the Person Act of 1861

No mention of him being charged for beastiality. Is that not illegal in Ireland?

Obviously she didn't deserve to die, but I have little sympathy for perpetrators of animal abuse. Glad he's going to prison - sick fuckers.

that is possibly the most bizarre thing i've ever read... mostly that the guy faces charges for "ordering" the dog to do it... i mean wtf???

I think it means he was charged with using the dog to perform the act of Buggary on the woman...... it was just the legal way of framing the charges against him. Very sick people.

I thought buggary was something completely different Confused

I read about a bloke who did that a few years ago and the dogs boy bits swelled up in his rear end so the bloke ended up getting stuck.

Apparently it happens so bitches can't run away or something.

Obviously she shouldn't have been doing it, still a horrible way to die tho and such a shame for her kids, I hope they never find out what happened. Sad for them.

Confused

Still not as bad as other bestiality stories I have read about.

And why on earth does MN not have an emoticon to signify someone throwing up their dinner yet?

Completely the oddest thing I've ever read I think.
Poor dog has been in quarantine for a couple of years.

While I am totally Shock at the whole thing, and am not condoning it it does say that the act was consensual (on the part of the man and women at least)

And he was not to know that she would die. He faces life in prison!! Shock

It seems a strange charge to bring. Animal cruelty yes. But this just seems odd. Or is that just me? He didn't actually perform an act with the dog, she did. I can't get my head round this at all

It reminds me of the case in the 90s when a group of men who were consensually taking part in some pretty violent sexual acts together were charged with assault on each other...

TBF i shouldn't imagine the Dog was bothered.

Imagine being 14 or 15 and finding out your Mum had beeb shagging animals and talking about it online, you'd want to die wouldn't you. Poor kids!

Curiously browsing a bestiality forum was not something I ever thought I'de be doing on a rainy Friday afternoon. Odd.

The case I was thinking of was R v Brown

Report

The man and woman consented but the dog didn't/can't consent.

I read about a bloke who did that a few years ago and the dogs boy bits swelled up in his rear end so the bloke ended up getting stuck.

Did he have to go to A&E or call the fire brigade or something. How would you explain that one? The various non-animate objects people stick up their bottom is bad enough but going in with a whole dog stuck in erm.. doggie position.Shock
