AIBU?

To ask my sister not to call every day?

I'm 41 +4 days pregnant and am getting sick, not to mention upset, of people phoning and texting to ask if anything has happened. Worst is my sister, who has phoned every day, despite the fact she lives 20 mins away and is going to look after the dog when I do go into labour. Plus the fact that I would let her know if we had had the baby!!!!!
I did try to be nice about it but I think she's a bit put out when I pointed out to her that she didn't need to call everyday and that we would let her know!!
Raaaagh!

It is not compulsory to answer the phone.

If she calls and you don't want to answer, just text back "No news, I WILL let you know".

Be grateful that they care/are interested enough to phone.

So, have you gone into labour yet?

No I blooming haven't!!! The thought of having to have sex again tonight with dh is not the greatest thought either - the midwives assure me that it'll work eventually!

Sorry happymum. Couldn't resist. Hope the baby comes soon. My DD was 10 days late and I was induced in the end. It's horrible waiting when you've had a due date in mind for the entire pregnancy.

My sis is 38.5 weeks so I update facebook everyday for her Grin, but she rings me everyday, today it was to ask me to come down and clean her skirting board so maybe you should get to the ph first and with a to do list Wink
