Sorry but it is on so many levels -

  1. Makes me glad I had a DS so I wont be pestered for such over priced tat
  2. What the hell do photos of puppies and and a make up mobile have to do with shoes?
  3. Why do shoes aimed a young girls need makeup with them anyway?
  4. The theme song is so irritating it makes you want to bang your head against a wall
  5. Its so obviously American with UK voice dubbing on to it
  6. They are so f***g expensive for what they are
  7. the whole consumerism peer pressure thing
  8. its just so cynical
  9. What is a make-up fan ffs

10. They are not even attractive they are f***g ugly

Sorry just had to get that off my chaest after watching the advert on milkshake for about the thousandth time

Ha, I totally agree with you!

They are some of the most vile shoes I've ever seen, and the advert makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

DDs (age 4 and 3) love them and keep asking if they can have a pair. I said maybe when they're 10, hopefully they will be forgotten by then! Grin

Even my 2.5 year old DS says 'Yuk' when the ads come on. We have decided DD can NEVER have a pair ever ever ever. They are the biggest load of overpriced tat but the bloody tune just goes round & round in my head all day - grr. YANBU.

Never even seen the advert as we only watch cbeebies in this house for exactly this reason.

BUT 3 yo DD still knows all about these shoes from her friends at nursery. She asked for a pair, and I agreed till I saw what they were like and the price Shock
So I took her to Clarks and she chose a pair of trainers with flashing lights instead Hmm
Still at least they were cheap(er).

They are advertising heavy and yes, they are,um, sparkly, but they are great for wide feet with high instep. When I saw poor DD being presented with the most unfashionable Clarks has to offer yet again, someone on here recommended Lelli Kellys as being good for this foot shape. Not only did I cheer DD up with trendy shoes, but I got them for £22 online in the sale and they lasted much longer than Clarks. And they are Italian not American, so nerrr. Grin

the reason why we watch CBeebies - No Adverts. Smile

Agree.

But just because you've got a DD it doesn't mean they'll ask for them.

Just making your disdain clear every time the advert comes on soon rubs off on them, until they find fault with the advert whenever it's shown Smile

They are very expensive for what is in effect canvas shoes which will not last. You can get similar from Sport Soccer of the same quality for a fraction of the price. They are not very nice either.

When DD was little she hankered after a pair but there was a girl at nursery she didn't like who had a pair.So thankfully she was put off them because of this.
She's into Converse trainers now (I think £24) but only one pair at a time.
