Radio 4's PM programme has begun with the presenter saying "Ryan Giggs, Ryan Giggs, Ryan Giggs"

Oh dear, its all soooo much more of a clusterfuck because he didn't want to man up and come clean.

His poor poor poor wife and kids Sad

Hope she divorces him for everything he's got. Which will obviously be much less now his lawyers will have taken their cut.....

It's a shame he didn't just admit it instead of going through all this palava - we would all have forgotten about it - now we're just waiting for more people to come out the woodwork.

It's a shame it's the day after his face was in the paper for the football Grin

wondering if this is the last of it actually - according to the radio he is now trying to get an injunction to prevent any journalists contacting him.

He is losing his marbles. He'll be in the Priory by the end of the month, I suspect....

What is the saying "no publicity is bad publicity" - I think not, if he had just kept quiet this would have blown over ages ago with most people not even hearing or giving it a second thought, but with all the injunctions and then the piece de resistance - trying to superinjunction twitter I doubt anyone has not heard.

His name, and wandering willy, will now go down in history. He will always be remembered for this. Worth all the expense? I think not.

PinotGrigio - exactly right. He was a fantastic footballer that would have been talked about after his death for his footy skills. Now he will be forever linked as the footballer who tried to hide his dirty secrets.

Please Mrs Giggs, divorce him and take half his money. PLEASE

You will still be able to buy your Jimmy Choo's or whatever... just do the right thing!

I wonder how much his lawyers have charged him, to make him an international laughing-stock?

He's probably dashed any chance of being a TV pundit/manager etc when he retires - which is what I think all this kerfuffle was trying to protect.

Stupid, stupid man. Very sad all round.

It's his wife and kids I feel for how must they be feeling. He's a selfish wanker

I don't think the publicity will do Ms Thomas any harm she's probably doing a deal with the N of W as we speak

I just don't understand why he went to all this trouble, the only reason I can think of was to stop his wife finding out, and she must have known already. Also this injunction, would it have stopped the other woman just phoning his wife up to tell her herself?

davidtennantsmistress · 23/05/2011 19:02

should have just manned up from the start.

Because he thought he could stop his wife finding out.
Keep it in your pants on future Mr Giggs!!!

The injunction still stands as I type.

How pathetic is that?

The media are getting round it by literally reporting what a Lib Dem MP has said. Judgey Judge Tugendhat will be awfully, awfully angry with our democratically elected MPs for this because they don't respect the judges' right to help rich men cover up their adultery, and interfering with the women's own rights to discuss their own affairs.

When you get Americans on Twitter asking "who is this Ryan Giggs and why is he suing Twitter?" things have gone way out of control.

I wonder how many people will open their papers tomorrow and genuinely exclaim "oh it was Ryan Giggs - what a shock" ?

What a bloody fool. Lovely wife, gorgeous kids and still has to ruin it. Should have admitted it, held his hands up and told the truth weeks ago.

Lets face it if Imogen had been in the paper saying "I had an affair with Ryan Giggs" we'd all have gone "meh" it would maybe have been discussed for a day, max week and everyone (exept his family) would have forgotten it.

Footballers are notoriously unfaithful and if you added up the IQ of an entire team it would proably only be equivalent to 1 goldfish...if the ball were attached to a big breasted, orange bimbo im sure their game would improve massively.

As for the whole "family man" justification, how funny - now maybe that would have been understandable (at a stretch) if for example it were Jamie/Louise, Posh/Becks...but "family" isnt the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Ryan Giggs - his pre-marriage track record would lead you to imagine it would happen sooner or later.

I cant help thinking this ongoing deceit is more despicable than the infidelity.

I cant say up until this debarcle I had ever given him much thought...anyway now "meh"
