That forced northern accent, the crap miming he does when he sings.

Is his hair real?

Strange but it is on at the moment and I know that I will be humming that song all the time now....

He is an idiot. He is young but old. He is probably only about 12 but they've done him up to look 70. Why? Why couldn't we have a sexy coolio farmer like Jimmy Docherty instead of this silly dolt?

Oh Lordy, dd2 loves him. Sadly we have a Garden Centre called Blooms nearby, she's bitterly disappointed every time we go and it's just a shop with plants in it.

Yes, DS seems to love him and I can't fathom why. He is a dullard and creepy to boot.

DS loves this programme (that the bloody song stays in my head all day to). He is a bit weird and why does his mouth go to the side sometimes? Its irritating.

YABU we love Mr Bloom - he is cheerful and does funny songs according to dd

I do think he is good with the children though (although it makes my teeth itch that they get called tiddlers). He is a natural, unlike bloody Cerrie and Alex.

LadywithnoManors you took the words out of my mouth. I cannot stand him for those very reasons. The accent is not convincing and his miming is just dreadful ("meet the veggies!").

Awful.

I am much more inclined to agree with this thread than the ones calling him 'hot' he isn't. He is creepy and story lines are weird.

I liked the idea of this show when I saw the trailers but it hasn't lived up to its promise at all. Nothing about it has so far attracted DS's attention anyway.

And Mr Bloom? No, I definitely wouldn't.

I think he's really creepy too!

He looks like an extra from trainspotting here

Mr Bloom is the bee's knees. I think it's a fantastic wee program. My 2 year old and I watch it together. I like his accent, the veggies are great and I think that there's nothing wrong with what he's wearing...he's wearing old clothes to go to the allotment folks not out to dinner!

He is lush and I love the way he interacts with the veggies.

DS loves him, it's good to have a regional accent and without the hair he is actually quite fit, though clearly miniature next to Andy.

I'm so glad im not the only one who thinks he's a bit of a creep, he should fit in nicely with the hollyoaks bunch.

I like that you considered this carefully for over 4 years and then decided he was a creep Grin. It implies a decent amount of research and contemplation. I approve Wink.

I don't like his hammy 'Northern' accent. Why did they have to do that? Also he did a webchat on here once and he didn't know anything about gardening Grin
