Went to stay with a friend 3 hours drive away. Pretty shit time- she wasnt keen on my 2 year old falling asleep mid afernoon as shed be awake later. other crap as well.
The main thing is though that my 6 yo started vomming.
So what happened?
My friend made me feel bad for making a mess so I decided to leave adn drive 3 hrs home.
When I got home no one could belieev that friend had let me go.
Wheen i said i was going - frineds boyf told me to stay but friend came up with loads of excuses- she kept telling me she didnt have enough towels for my vomiming dd and even offered me red bull to stay awake rather than stay over.
Anyway I got home and so called friend got iffy- obviously a guilty conscience so fell out with me. Load f cap here= so called christian- what a bloody joke

i think your 'friend' isn't much of a ffriend and is being UR.

YANBU. Turns out she's not a very good friend. Does she have children?

um, no, you're not.

Bye bye "friend", she sounds like a knobber.

No YANBU - chalk it up to experience and remember she is (presumably) child-free, so has no idea how it all works??

How odd.

Perhaps your friend has a phobia of vomit?

Definitely rude. Have just taken in the bit where you said she was upset your 2 year old had a nap. Confused

I really hope I wasn't that awful to parents when I was young...
