Otherwise shops wouldnt sell under bump jeans!

My over bumps slip down as they arent elasticky enough and the under bump ones make me look like a fat boozy old fart with a beer gut as my bump hangs over the waistband :o

I know I am on number 6 but I am not particularly over weight (well I wasnt, I might be now I suppose). I am a size 14 and was at the upper end of normal for my height so not got loads of flab. I do look pregnant and not just big, so why cant I find a pair of jeans that dont either fall down or make me look like stoopid?!

YABU - I am on number 2, am also a size 14, have about 20 pairs of mat jeans (over and under varieties) and every single pair makes me look like I'm trying to be a rude boy or just have a massively saggy arse Grin

Today, when I eventaully get dressed, I will be sporting a fetching pair of maternity jeggings. At 31 wks, they look horrendous but at least they stay up Grin Grin

Maternity jeans are the work of the devil! Maybe a pair of denim dungarees would work? In this weather you could get away with wearing a jumper over the top to make them look a bit more like jeans.

Also, if you've just put weight on your bump and not too much everywhere else, try your normal jeans done up with a piece of string and with a belly band over the top. That's what I've done this time round and it's miles more comfy and flattering than the evil maternity jeans I forked out for last time.

I found maternity jeans impossible until the end when I had a big bump and I had great ones with huge stretchy panel - above bump, with elastic that could be tightened.

Maternity jeans really should come with braces!

When I was pg I just bought an elastic extender, some of those big bands of material that cover any gap over your tummy (bump bands?), and wore my normal jeans.

It's hard enough to find a pair of well-fitting jeans at the best of times. With maternity jeans it was just impossible.

I have some over bump jeans but they keep falling down as my bump is not quite big enough for them. I have a muffin SHOP top lol.

I tried the elastic extender thingy but I hated the lines it gave under my tops. It seems like most tops are clingy, which I like but you need either over bump jeans or a perfect tum to go under them!

Maybe the old days of bell tent dresses and big floppy collars a la Princess Diana happened for a reason?!
