AIBU?

To think that ingesting just a little bit of your own poo isn't necessarily a complete disaster?

Just changed dd's nappy and left her in middle of floor on mat (rolling and bumshuffling but not crawling) while I put poo down toilet etc.

Paused briefly in kitchen to wring out lunchtime bib.

Returned to living room.

New poo has appeared - apparently without passing 'go' as it were.

Poo is all over dd, floor, mat, dh's best jumper (on mat), clean clothes (also on mat), toys etc some on dd's face.

Dd is now clean - I am now not.

Should I be rushing her to hospital or just sitting here awarding myself 'crap mother' prize which is what I am doing?

Wash baby, wash clothes, and start working it into a funny story for her future loves as a teenager.

Yes that's what I thought but working towards pfb accreditation and wondered whether a visit to Aand E might count towards a module.

You want to start worrying when she's a toddler and comes to you with what you blindly accept as some chocolate in her finger to feed you with. BLEEEEEEEEEEEERK!!!!!!!!!!!! ( and NO, I NEVER ate anything ds gave me every again!)

Oh dear, I don't envy you having to clean that up. But it won't do her any harm.

Are you going to tell DH about his jumper, or just wash it? Grin

I just told him. He said 'that's dry clean only that jumper'

it really isn't now.

And can only imagine the horror of preparing for a nice piece of chocolate....

The only thing wrong here is that you didn't take a photo.
