No matter how much i use the smell never seems to stay around for much of the day. I have tried using tons of fabric conditioner, just a little etc and the smell just doesn't seem to last!

AIBU to want the clothes to sMell lovely all day? What's the secret for keeping the nice smell in clothes all day???

The do smell nice all day but two things happen. Because you're wearing them you become desensitised to the fab con perfume. And because you're wearing them they acquire the varying smells of your body and your environment. BTW... don't use loads of fab con. Use a tiny amount and then peg out the clothes to blow in the fresh air - that clean outdoor smell is much more durable!!

I'd hate my clothes to smell of fabric conditioner. Horrid, synthetic stuff! But I second the advice to hang stuff out and enjoy the glorious smell of washing dried in the fresh air. Lasts much longer too.

I also really hate that synthetic fabric conditioner smell and use an unscented one. When I was preg I would gag every time i had to sit near someone in the library who used some really strong washing powder.Uggh.Fresh air for clothes and a really top notch bottle of lovely scent for you is my take on it.

Anything that smells of [boak] fabric conditioner should be binned. Pronto. Like cheap soap or worse, supermarket own brand( if there is such thing Hmm) scent. [triple boak]
Vile stuff.

I put 2 capfuls of fab con in a spray bottle and top it up with water and spray. I even spray it on clothes before I iron them :)
