At my age? Or a jumpsuit?

I like them

I'm 38 JUST Blush

I'm a size 10 to 12...Clebs of my age wear them...can I? Please?

I know this is a style and beauty topic...but I want the bald truth.

I like the shorts ones too...with black tights....and a nice belt...I have nearly no boobs and so I feel I dereve some compenation...I also know I don't look 38....more like 37 and a half.

No...I can pass for around 34 or so...not a spring chicken.

I'm sorry, but they are ugly! One of my friends has one and she has great difficulty going to the toilet while out wearing one as well.

Just don't.

Or people will (rightly) laugh. Grin

If you want one, buy one!

FWIW I'm a 10/12 and at 26 think I'm too old to pull it off without looking a bit 'try hard'

I have a very cute playsuit, which actually suits me despite being a size 16. Depends on the cut of it, like with all clothing. Try it at least :)

At 26 weedle? Good grief!

There are people here who wouldn't want their teenage dds dressed in a particular way, then you saying you'd look try hard at 26 - this gives a window of what, 2 years in which to wear whatever you want! Grin Wink

Buy one!

BUT there are provisos (sp?)...

It probably needs to be a dark fabric.

It should be structured, cinch in at waist and possibly have small shoulder pads - think Sue Ellen in Dallas!

You should probably wear it with heels.

It needs to be a decent fabric (silk / silk & viscose etc).

You probably need to spend more on it than you first thought in order that it's cut well.

Go and look in French Connection / Reiss / Whistles type places.

I adore mine, always get compliments and am over 38! Wink

No no no! I have a friend, young, slim and a beautiful Envy but even she looked like a dog's dinner in it!!

Lol I did say wear what you want. Was just saying that it's not a 'look' many people can pull off.

Ermmmm like those hugely asymetrical cuts that were trendy a while back. On some people they looked cutting edge and very cool, on the rest they looked like they were trying but not quite getting there. Or when you see someone pulling their skimpy dress up/down all night - ruins the effect somewhat...

You need to try them on, bring a pair of flat and a pair of heeled shoes with you [or order off the internet and return if not suitable]
But go for it I have 3 and so comfy but impossible to go to the loo when drunkGrin
