to be mightily pissed off with Eve Lom?

I live in Dubai. For Christmas, I asked my husband for some skin creams from Eve Lom. We ordered them online on 4th December from Eve Lom (UK). The whole order cost GBP 185.00. On the website it said that international orders would be delivered before Christmas as long as you ordered before the 17th. I placed the order on the 4th, two weeks before this.

So, over a month on, and the order still has not arrived. I have emailed them a few times, to be told that orders can take up to 28 working days. I have asked them to check to see where my parcel is, but they won't. They just keep quoting this 28 working days thing. They just couldn't give a fuck.

This was meant to be my Christmas present from my DH. I am really upset. Also, I have run out of cleanser and moisturiser but won't buy any more because my Eve Lom should be here by now. So my skin is looking like crap.

AIBU to expect better customer service from them?

well....it is out of their hands now. what can they do? They do not control international and Dubai post services ? And Dubai Customs? It may be stuck there...

Well, for a start, they could check to see if it has been delivered. It is a 'signed for' package, so it would not be difficult.

They should check to see the status of the parcel if you can't do so yourself. Try buying it from another beauty website next time? Lookfantastic.com or spacenk?

Well, they won't. Difficult bastards. Actually, funnily enough, one of the replies I got was from Space NK, so I think they are the suppliers, even though I ordered from the Eve Lom website.
