It's only about 5-6 weeks old and I knocked against the ironing board, knocked it off and knackered it

I'm having a horrible time atm for various reasons and I just can't believe I did this.

Yes it would have been worse if it had dropped on my foot - or on the kids or cat - or heaven forbid dh's foot
I don't think I could get away with claiming it just broke - it's clearly been dropped - the hot plate is about to drop off
