I've been a SAHM for a few months now and have taken dc to various classes/playgroups but find that I'm the one who always has to initiate any playdate/coffee date invitations. I've always found it easy to make friends but now find myself feeling quiet lonely. It'd be nice if for just once someone initiated things.
Just a rant really, maybe it'll be like this until I've found kindered spirits.
Also some of the mums are clique and I don't know why they don't include me. I don't think I'm regarded as horrid or maybe I'm being delusional.

it's hard, we moved house and I became a SAHM when DD1 was 18 months and it really took a while to meet people. It's hard going from the chatting-after-playgroup stage to the lets-meet-for-coffee stage, but it does get easier. Seek out kindred spirits who are new to the area/billy no mates! Luckily I was also pregnant with DD2 when we moved, and met loads of nice people at an NCT refresher antenatal class who I now see a lot of. Maybe you should have another baby! Grin
