I recently bought a Joolz Pram with a Carry Cot for my unborn girl.
After getting the pram home I noticed it smelt quite strongly with a chemical/plastic type of smell. Expecting it to go after a few days I didn't worry, however after two weeks it was the same. I called Mamas and Papas (where bought) and a new one was sent out. This one has the same smell, again after two weeks.
It seems to be the hardboard or plywood base which smells. Do you think this smell is due to some treatment to make it fire resistant or to protect it against "miss happs" from the child? I am worried that the smell will harm my little girl.
Can anyone think of anything I can use to take the small away?
Thanks in advance,
Doerte
