MN is getting a tad repetative and boring. Why do people keep going over the same old stuff or slightly altering old ones
eg Chocolate cake for supper
oooh I will do one about chocolates for breakfast
I bet even this topic as been done before

A lot of us aren't here to entertain you though.
As long as people are people and babies are babies and children are children, you will see the same topics time and again.
You have the ability to Not Read threads you know.
Perhaps you should hire a clown if you need entertaining. Or a barbershop quartet. Or a dance troupe. Or Cliff Richard.
This thread makes me think of Why Don't You for some reason.
Did Ant and Dec start off on Why Don't You or have I made it up?

I wonder how much it would cost to hire Cliff Richard......?
I was right
. Ant was on Why Don't You
Here
Can never remember which one is which though.
laughingravey I think I am providing something different here.
LOL LOL life is repetitive an boring though at times.
Bloody hell you come here expecting to be entertained? Go and get yourself a hobby

Yes, this topic has been done before. Many times. Moaning about repetitiveness is a recognised stage in the MNer lifecycle, four stes after moaning about clique-iness, one step before serial deregistrations, and three steps before finally buggering off to Twitter.

Ollie the ogre who appears in the Barbie dvd Swan lake looks like Ant or Dec I dont know which one I get the bugers mixed up

How do you get Ant and Dec mixed up? Ant is the tall one and Dec is the one who looks like a serial killer. Are we clear?
I wonder if there's a sliding scale of how much it would cost to hire Cliff. Double if he doesn't sing, a supplement if he doesn't dance and a one off non-refundable deposit that ensures he won't talk.

There are new members to netmums all the time and so they may start a thread and not be aware that it has already been done.
I'm quite new so I wouldn't have a clue if somebody posted about cake for supper 3 months ago.
This is something you have to suffer with open to all members forums really isn't it?
Here's a thought, just don't read that particular thread!

I am fairly new and the first thing I did was to look back at all the old threads and try to come up with new topics

There have been many threads about "Fed up with same old stuff on MN".
Please start a scintillating thread, why is it up to everyone else and not you.
The same old stuff is a good thing. It shows we are all normal, have the same problems issues. It can be very comforting.
Do you know what I find repetitive?

Netmums?
<looks round>
I know I'm sleep deprived, but everything still seems beautifully muted. Where am I?
You looked back at all the old threads? Blimey, you're keen.
Might I suggest the MN Classics topic to you. Highly entertaining and often heartwarming.
