It seemed a bit like we had a one man team. But there was no real booing. the press seemed to have turned on Capello.I was never very keen on him.howabout a Brit manager for a change? cheers

What, so we can emulate the massive successes the team had under Graham Taylor, Kevin Keegan, Glenn Hoddle, Steve McClaren...

Oh, wait a minute....

Hmm

I DO heart Gerrard though.

Stick with Fabio I think he can turn this round. The press were always going to turn on him. The only way to stop that was to win the World cup.

Gerrard is amazing, I love him and named my kitten after him!

I found it very interesting that very shortly after Rooney went off, Gerrard found himself in the position of scoring two fantastic goals

Hmm

Fabio is a fascist

How could he be so cruel to David Beckham?

And who can we lust after now DB's career has been so cruelly ended by Mr Punch?

AnyFucker, totally with you on that one. Rooney's a waste of space most of the time.

Lizzy are you sure? Lust after Beckham? Bleurgh! The end of his career isn't before time either.

As for a change of manager, I don't know who could do any better. There are few Brits who are up to the task (although Martin O'Neill's at a loose end atm). Gone are the days of the glory managers, and of Clough, the greatest manager England never had. Surprisingly, Hoddle's win average was greater than most, but was it good football?

My own choice for a manager would be Mourinho... now, he would bring the passion and the glory back to Wembley, I think.
