AIBU?

to think that if you are clicking on unknown websites linked from FB with your child you maybe deserve to get hit with a big FUCK.

weird prissy discussion on the MN FB linky thingy about a link that Shock my 7 yr old who can read Shock Shock saw.

FB is an adult social network as MN is. How can you be surprised if there is an occasional Fuck written on sites linked? And if you don't know what is being linked to how can you be surprised if it's not something fluffy? could be anything?

Yeah, I kind of agree. It was a very weird link though, and not even funny.

Yep, MN is an adult forum. Just because it's aimed at parents doesn't mean everything on it has to be 'family-friendly'(god forbid!) I did open the link with DD on my lap but she's only 13 months Smile.

I couldn't see why it was funny either. Which was my main problem with it.

Missed something good obviously.

Erm, doesn't MN itself feature the word "fuck" fairly often too?

just a MN FB thing with a website oftheday link (which I didn't get) which had Fuck written a few times but various replies were a bit cross because children saw it Shock.

something of nothing really.

This was the link.

Not hugely offensive, but the humour went straight over my head!

I was waiting to find this thread after seeing the fb comments.

Should you be a fb fan of mn if swearing during the day offends you so much? Hmm
