We use a plastic carrier bag and then put it in the loft.

One of those plastic A1 art portfolio's and a box for books. Must admit was thinking today about going through it and selecting the best to keep and quietly binning the rest, its really building up and i dont have space!

Each of my three DCs has a "memory box" up in the loft, baby shoes, new baby cards, newspaper articles, very nice pieces of schoolwork etc. I also have my own (bursting at the seams with similar stuff).

One box per year?? I'd need a new loft.

I don't.

We've got pictures, video of birthdays and christmases, and I did start a box each when they were born - cord clip, birth notice in paper, lock of hair, etc.

But school books etc etc, nope. all gets admired and shoved in the bin.

I am very unsentimental about bits of paper. About stuff in general. Don't keep anything.

Certificates and achievements - my DDs have a nice folder each with plastics document holders that they just fill.

Otherwise, I have a plastic box on top of my wardrobe, and anything I want to keep gets shoved in there. When it is full, it gets transferred to their big (individual) plastic boxes in the attic.
