Tuna & sweetcorn samosas with filo pastry, my DD loves them - mix up the tuna & sweetcorn with a dollop of natural yogurt, brush a sheet of filo with melted butter, fold in half lengthways, brush again, put a dessertspoonful of the tuna mix on the end of the filo, take the bottom corner & lift it to make a triangle & then keep folding the filo over in triangles until you get to the end, brush the whole thing with butter & put on baking tray. I cook them on 190 / Gas 5 for about 20 minutes, then see how they're doing.

That's so easily done, you can't tell by the picture and I don't always read the weight properly. I once ordered a box of teabags and when they arrived there was enough in the box to keep us going for a year.

well I suppose £3.15 is quite a lot for a small tin of sweetcorn.......... I have to confess I did do the shopping on Friday night whilst consuming a thimble full of wine...........I also ended up with a box of 48 bags of crisps and a rather large block of pate........Good job we are a multi freezered family.

Scurry, that sounds lovely, I will give it a try.

Lamplighter, you gave me a real giggle at that one. I'm still giggling. Thanks, I really needed it

I am well known for doing this. Ordering a jar of jam that was as tall as an elf and a jar of dishwasher powder that was tiny - obviously for elves! Easily done.
sweetcorn chowder for life obviously

SF am laughing at your sweetcorn envy.

mn

DH has a habit of doing this too. Ordering teeny tiny things off ebay. Once ordered a boys guitar for DS1, which was so tiny only a small mouse could have played it. It sets me off everytime I see it......

I do this sort of thing quite often. Most frequent is the massive jar of marmite which costs a fortune.

You could always adapt a pea shooter - you have the ammo now

[Quite a lot of ammo really - well SHEDLOADS to be really frank with you]

You repel very small enemies for quite a while

Easily done - you are mostly definately NOT a nob as I mis-ordered 8 bags of bananas instead of 8 individual bananas last week, a barginous price of £23.78 for 59 bananas.

You are obviously, like myself, a hugely over-pressured domestic engineer. Give yourself a pay rise.
