Anyone tried it? Good/bad indifferent? My local health food shop (independent) offer it and I am considering it?

I had considered it, but went with bioresonance in the end. I would say bioresonance was far more comprehensive and in our case totally accurate. Picked up things that you wouldn't find in hair (like food sensitivities, vit deficiencies and even fungal infection that I at the time didn't know about - but which turned out to be spot on and confirmed a few weeks later.
The bioresonance was about £40 approx 2 years ago.

You can't diagnose allergy through hair tests and boiresonance is complete nonsense as well!

Blind tests show neither of these work.

Do you know of any effective way to measure then Christywhisty as my GP doens't believe in allergy testing so far I have tried Kingsology (sp) I have had the allergy test done in Holland and Barret and when living in Cyprus saw a dermatolgist who told me I was allergic to green leafy veggies....I have tried diary, wheat and gluten free diets to no avail...I'm told its food related as I break out in hives looks like prickly heat rash, and is very itchy..

Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks

The problem with allergy testing is that it is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Have you tried keeping a food diary?
Things like kinesiology, vega testing , bioresonance ,hair testing and other tests that health shops sell have absolutely no scientific basis and as I said in my previous post just do not perform under blind tests, and have been none to miss serious allergies. These machines are not even legally sold in the US. Quackwatch has some excellent articles on allergy testing on its website.
Also try ringing allergy uk, they have an excellent help line.

If its hives are you sure its not to do with the sun. Both my sister and I both come out in very itchy rashes in the sun.

LyndaG - why not find a more enlightened GP? As allergies clearly exist it seems v. strange 'not to believe in allergy testing' - the conventional tests (skin prick, RAST) do work pretty well.

As Christywhisty says tho, it would be difficult to know where to start testing unless you can narrow down what may be causing it (food, skin cream, etc)
