shampoo for eczema sufferer

my dd is nearly 5 months and has eczema behind her ears....can anyone reccommend a shampoo? she has loads of hair! tried infaderm but still irritated her. needs a wash occasionally though I have stopped doing it every bathtime. using the usual balneum and aqueous cream for her skin.

You could try "Halos and Horns" - it has no parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulphate etc and some people swear by it for eczema sufferers. I think E45 might do a shampoo too.

my daughter uses simple colour and perfume free shampoo and conditioner.

Its worth trying...............however my allergic son COULDNT use any form of shampoo until he was 2 1/2 !!
When washed, he had curls!! before the grease made his hair straight and lank!!

Does she actually need shampoo? DS has eczema and we have always just washed his hair in the bath water every night with no shampoo. If you never put shampoo on it it probably won;t get grerasy

Urtekram unscented children's shampoo - the mildest there is. Ask in health food shops or look online. Keep the area as dry as possible generally though. My dd2 had terrible weeping eczema behind her ears last year. Sorted it with homoeopathy

I found the Diprobath that we add to the bath very effective as a hair cleaner. I wouldn't call it 'shampoo' but it is very effective at cleaning (can get greasey Epaderm out of the hair) without causing any allergic reaction.

Have a look at the Spirit of NAture website - they have loads of natural products suitable for excema sufferers. I think even HAlos and Horns has a long chemcially ingredient list.
