I have suspected I've got a issue with some food for a while.

Yesterday I had Hovis loaf shaped biscuits with mascarpone cheese. Delicious but almost immediately I had stomach cramps.

Today I've had the same cheese but with gluten everything free crackers. All ok.

Sounds good but they taste like cardboard.

I know nothing so think it is wheat I have an issue with, or maybe flour (?) as white bread and weetabix also don't like me.

Can I buy flour to make my own bread? Is this it forever with me? Is there a good book I can buy which will answer all my stupid questions?

TIA.

Don't know about books but lots of websites (and threads on here)- I just google what I'm after and can usually find enough.

There are loads of different gf brands around, some much more tasty than Others.
I find gf crackers the easiest to find delicious. Wait rose usually has good ranges.

I use doves farm gluten free flour for baking. They also have recipes on their website.

Excuse typing- am nursing newborn as I type.

Congratulations on your newborn.

Thank you. I've just got back from Asda and bought crisp bakes, crackers, bread, pate, flour and baking powder so I can eat.

At the moment I'm assuming I have to afford anything with flour so I'll see how I go. I wonder if I'll lose weight too. Hope so as nothing is working at the moment.
